The Hypocritical Daily Mirror and the Equally Hyprotical Tony Parsons

In the same week he joins the Peoples March against knife crime he writes in his column that we should all back Gordon Brown.

I mean, seriously, who do you blame for the current epidemic of knife crime Mr Parsons, David Cameron?

I appreciate that marching brings publicity to a cause and I could name a dozen other causes that should have the population protesting in its thousands, but in this case it's all been done before.

And this comment is just plain laughable..

"The country is broke. Our soldiers are fighting and dying in a distant war. Our old people are afraid to walk to the shops."

Yes it is broke, Tony Blair loosened the wheel nuts but it was Gordon Brown that finally broke it.
While I agree that nobody should vote for David Cameron who has been clearly exposed for what he is, to suggest that anybody should back Gordon Brown is truly laughable.

But, getting back to knife crime, this is what the Mirror Demands

1 Give our police tools to catch knife thugs.
They already have them

2 Launch amnesty to bring in the blades.
Complete waste of time

3 Nurses must report treating stab victims
How will this stop knife crime?

4 Teach all pupils that knives solve nothing
Already being done.

5 Texts and internet will help win battle
Absolute rubbish

The answer to knife crime is simple, tougher policing, tougher sentencing, zero tolerance to carrying a knife in public etc etc.
